The SOLAR EYE irradiance control system on board QUV and Q-SUN testers needs to be calibrated by the user periodically. This ensures accurate and consistent results
The calibration radiometers (CR) and calibration thermometers (CT) can be used to calibrate any QUV (series 90 or lower) or Q-SUN (series 71 or lower) tester quickly and easily. It’s critical that tester calibration devices themselves receive a yearly calibration.
v USES OF CALIBRATION RADIOMETER & THERMOMETER:
þ Customers use the CR-10 radiometer to calibrate irradiance for QUV every 500 testing hours, or whenever the lamps, irradiance sensors, or test cycle conditions are changed.
þ Customers use the CR-20 radiometer to calibrate irradiance for Q-SUN ( every series 71 or lower) every 500 testing hours, or whenever the lamps, optical filters, irradiance sensors, or test cycle conditions are changed.
þ Customers use the CT-202 thermometer to calibrate temperature for Q-SUN (every series 71 or lower) every 6 months, or whenever the lamps, optical filters, black panel temperature sensors, or test cycle conditions are changed.
v Q-LAB'S RECALIBRATION REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES
CR10 and CR20 radiometers, along with CT202 calibration thermometers, MUST be returned to Q-Lab once per year for an inexpensive recalibration. Radiometer and thermometer recalibrations are inexpensive and fast, and can be performed at Q-Lab recalibration centers located in the United States.

Q-Lab calibration labs are ISO 17025 accredited by the American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA - Ohio Certificate Number 2382-01). Calibrations are traceable to the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
After calibration, Q-Lab will provide a calibration certificate valid for 12 months. This calibration certificate is endorsed by an accredited agency, the American Association of Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
v NQA'S RECALIBRATION SERVICE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING COST:
Temporary export customs declaration service.
Express delivery charge (by UPS, FedEx, DHL...) for sending the devices to Q-LAB calibration lab in Ohio - USA
Testing and recalibration fee performed by Q-Lab experts including the calibration certificate with customer information and valid 12 months from calibration date.
Express delivery charge (by UPS, FedEx, DHL...) for returning the recalibrated devices from Q-Lab (USA) to Vietnam.
Re-import customs declaration service.
Delivery fee to the customer.
Besides, customers will be provided with a copy of the Certificate of Origin from Q-Lab confirming that their devices have been sent to Q-Lab USA for recalibration, as our service has committed.
